Our coconut and apricot waxes are gluten free, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free, and come from renewable sources. The entire blend utilizes only FDA approved waxes. 

This luxurious Coco Apricot Crème container wax is a vegan blend of natural apricot and coconut wax. It has a creamy white appearance, exceptional adhesion and provides an excellent fragrance throw (both warm and cold). Exhibits an evenness of burn and wax consumption.

Wood wicks create a beautiful crackling sound while burning. Wooden wicks are more sustainable than cotton wicks, as thousands of wicks can be found in a single tree. They give off a crackle similar to a fireplace and burn more evenly and cleanly than cotton wicks. Wood wick candles make less soot than conventional wicks. 

A wooden wick will heat your wax more evenly, allowing you to burn more evenly and longer over time.

A cotton wick has a poor reputation on the part of environmentalists because of the serious demands it places on the environment. The cotton sector requires thousands of gallons of water—one of the world's most chemically intensive agricultural products. Not to mention many cotton wicks are dipped in paraffin or borax which can be hazardous to your health while burning.

Candle fragrance is one of the most defining characteristics of your candle, and we take that seriously! We use fragrances that are elevated to the highest level of sophistication and contain essential oils and prized ingredients from around the globe.

​Our candle fragrances are phthalate free and paraben free, high-end luxury fragrances of superior quality. The majority of our candle fragrances contain a combination of essential oils and fragrance oils that are formulated for optimum performance in a candle. 

Also, there are strict global standards set in place for the safe use of fragrance ingredients.

Our vintage vessels are sourced from anywhere and everywhere. We scour antique marts, estate sales, online, you name it. We are always looking for unique pieces that we feel will make a stunning and one of a kind candle. 

The majority of our pieces are in pristine condition but there are times when an aged imperfect vessel is too lovely to pass up. While they can occasionally have some imperfections we truly believe it simply adds to their charm.

Make sure you burn your candle for 1-2 hours the first time around. You want to make sure your wax pool extends to both ends of the vessel before extinguishing. This will avoid tunneling!​ You should also be sure to trim your wick to ⅛” before every burn.

The burn time of our candles varies depending on the vessel and the environment in which the candle is burning​. But as a rule of thumb: every ounce of wax gives 6-7 hours of burn time. So an 8 oz. candle would last up to 56 hours!

How do I get the last 1/4" of wax out of my container so I can repurpose it?

You can either A) put the candle in the freezer overnight and the wax should easily pop out the next day, or B) run hot water into the candle to melt the remaining wax so you can scoop it out!

Our studio is located at 130 Kansas Street in Frankfort, Illinois. You will receive an email with further instructions when your pickup order is ready.

We ask that buyers understand that each vessel they choose is authentically vintage and may adorn markings, tarnish, patina, scratches, and/or verdigris. However, we understand that pieces may arrive damaged from shipping. We gladly accept returns on vessels that have been damaged in transit, as well as candles that do not work properly. We ask that photos be sent in those situations so that we can assess whether or not a product is eligible for return. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs back to Frankfort Candle Company.

We do not offer exchanges at this time.

Please note: Customer is responsible for shipping cost to/from Frankfort Candle Company. Frankfort Candle Company is not responsible for breakage due to inadequate packaging by customer. We will ship back to you at no additional charge.

When you purchase a vintage candle subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.

The cost is $59 per candle, including all taxes and shipping. The cost per candle is the same for all subscription packages and frequencies.

Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries.

Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don’t want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.

If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.
